More Christmas cards of 2012

Here are two more Christmas cards I made this year. We won't be able to say that very long. I cut the word JOY out with my Cricut. The poinsettia is a stamp that I colored with my copics. The paper is the back of last years Graphic 45 Christmas stack. (very cute btw)  The top one is a mix of many die cuts and stamps. If your interested in knowing where they are from just ask I will be happy to list them but to be honest I can't remember them all right Have a great New Year, be safe and be happy, hugs, Debi

2012 Christmas cards

Here are a couple of my Christmas cards I made this year. These are just Michaels $1. stamps that I colors with my markers. I put them on a Spellbinders die and tied a ribbon knot and the top one I did a bow. The bottom one the knot got but I still think it's cute.  I'll post more cards later. Hugs, Debi

Tree box

I cut this tree from my Gypsy. Tag Bag Boxes and more. I don't have the cart but when I updated my Gypsy  I got a copy of it. It's cut a 6.5". I put acetate in the window and filled it with candy. Used some stuff in my stash to decorate it. I made 5 of these. Cute huh? Hugs, Debi

The Grinch

How cute is this? Here is a link to the tutorial where I found this...
Hope you enjoyed. I'm going to post my Christmas cards too. Hugs, Debi

Finely another post...

I don't know how people find the time to post on their blogs everyday...I can't even do it weekly. But I'm always happy when I do post something, at least I can look back at what I've done over the past and smile. I'm always busy making things but forget to take pictures of them. But I took one of this card I made for my sister. She has traveled a lot over the years and is very adventurous. The paper is an old pack from Michaels. The stamps are from Inkadinkado. I'm was happy with the way this card turned out. Don't forget, I always enjoy your comments. Hugs, Debi

Not wireless!

I just had to share this.  I hope we still remember to pray in these fast and furious times. I don't claim to be over the top when it comes to church or religion but I believe we all have need to be thankful and ask for help now and then. Thanks for stopping by. Hugs, Debi

Get well card!

My BBF had back surgery so I made her a get well card. I got this picture from the internet and I really don't remember where. I cut around it and punched a border with a MS punch. The hugs stamp is from Scrappy's an oldie but a goodie.  On the inside I just wrote her personal messages on the off white paper with the same punched little flowers.  Hope you like it.  Big hugs, Debi

Stand and Salute

I have a niece that joined the Coast Guard, so I made her this card.  I used the Stand and Salute.  There sure are a lot of nice images on the cart.  I sure do like my Gypsy for things like this when there are several things to cut for one card.  Okay, that's it. Thanks so much looking today...let me know how you used this cartridge.  Hugs, Debi

Sympathy card

A very good friend of mine's sister was killed in a tragic car accident.  I can not tell you how much my heart went out to her.  If I was to loose one of my sister's like that it would maybe kill me too from the heart ache.  So anyway this is the sympathy card I made for her. It is mostly the design on the papers but I did add some ribbon and a butterfly with some small pearls.  On the inside I stamped a saying from a Scrappy Mom's stamp set, "God won't bring you to it if he can't get you through it".  I guess as we get older we loose ones that we love. Loosing my Mother was one of the hardest things I've ever had to get over but I did even though a day does pass that I don't think of her or see or say something that reminds me of her.
Thank you for visiting my blog and I want to send you all warm hugs, Debi

This is a pop up card too. The heart is put on a cut out from the outside of the card and the cut out is covered with the card base. Very easy and fun. I really like the way this turned out. This pic is my son in law and grand daughter. Was taken last year. Thanks for looking. Hugs, Debi

Sunny Side Up in San Diego: Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting: This cake is a match made in heaven for me. It's a rich, almost fudge like, cake topped with a light and creamy peanut butter frosting....

I wanted to try putting a picture on a candle. The first one I did looked pretty bad so I kept trying until I finely had one that looked okay. This was a Mother's Day gift to my daughter. And the card. Thanks for stopping by. Hugs, Debi

This card is a quilt card. Inside I stamped...Thinking of you!  I think I should have used more contrasting paper so the quilt pattern would have popped a bit more. But in the tutorial these are very close to what she used.
You can find the tutorial here  Of course we all put our own little touches on what we make. Thanks for stopping by. You know I love comments.

Birthday my Son

Believe it or son made this card. The only thing I did was tie the bow. He found this great paper he liked and took off. He has a lot of artisic ability any way. He can draw some of the greatest pictures with paint or pens. He cut the fairy out with a craft knife and used the same paper to put her on. He went thru some of my emblie's and picked out a few he liked. He made this for his girl friend. He is 30. I was so impressed I just had to post this. I hope you like this. Please leave a comment so I can share them with him. Thanks for looking today. Hugs, Debi
